The community service team in charge of the yard sale took on the most labor-intensive work, beginning with collecting in-kind donations since August and continuing through sorting, cleaning, pricing items, and displaying and selling them on the day of the event. Thanks to their efforts, We-Woori raised more than $300 from items priced from just a few cents to ten dollars.

The fundraising outcome brings to mind the Korean idiom 십시일반, meaning that small individual contributions can combine into a meaningful whole. Even with low-priced items, the collective effort resulted in more than $300 in sales, demonstrating the power of community participation.
